dc.description.abstract	La industria plástica se encuentra en constante crecimiento. Según el periódico El Mundo.com, en los últimos tiempos este sector industrial ha crecido cerca de un 8% anual. Es por ello y teniendo en cuenta los impactos y las condiciones ambientales críticas que generan las actividades industriales, y en especial las del sector del plástico, que se hace necesario implementar estrategias que permitan prevenir, mitigar, corregir y compensar los impactos generados durante los procesos productivos. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, en el presente trabajo de investigación se diseñó una estrategia compuesta por un plan de acción en el cual se desarrollan unos programas, que buscan prevenir y mitigar los impactos generados en la fabricación de MasterBatch en la empresa Grupo Prime S.A.S. ubicada en Jamundí-Valle del Cauca; para ello se desarrolló una metodología integral aplicando lineamientos estipulados en la GTC-93 para elaborar una revisión ambiental inicial (RAI), herramientas de producción más limpia y por ultimo diseñando los programas con sus respectivas medidas de manejo. Con base en los resultados de la revisión ambiental inicial y la aplicación de herramientas de producción más limpia, y en especial de la matriz de identificación de aspectos e impactos ambientales y el ecomapa, se obtuvo que la zona en la que se fabrica el MasterBatch de color negro es la más crítica al interior de la planta y que el impacto que más veces se presenta a lo largo del proceso productivo es el riesgo de que aumente la morbilidad de enfermedades respiratorias por las altas concentraciones de material particulado (MP) al interior de la planta de producción, esto se debe principalmente al uso de materias primas peligrosas y poco amigables con el ambiente como el negro de humo que se compone principalmente de carbón elemental en forma de partículas coloidales y sin arreglo tridimensional, y a las malas prácticas de operación sumadas a la tecnología vieja, rudimentaria, ineficiente y obsoleta. Se hace importante aclarar que la revisión ambiental o el diagnóstico inicial, y en especial la identificación de los aspectos e impactos ambientales de la organización, es una etapa primordial para el desarrollo del resto del trabajo debido a que de allí salen las zonas y actividades que se deben priorizar a la hora de diseñar los programas que permitan prevenir y mitigar la generación de condiciones ambientales críticas, realizando una gestión ambiental inicial y lograr mejorar el desempeño ambiental de la organización.	spa
dc.description.abstractenglish	The plastic industry is in constant growth. According to the newspaper ElMundo.com, in the last times this industrial sector has grown near 8 % per year. It is for it and having in it counts the impacts and the environmental critical conditions that generate the industrial activities, and especially those of the sector of the plastic, that it becomes necessary to implement strategies that they allow to anticipate, to mitigate, to correct and to compensate the impacts generated during the productive processes. Bearing the previous thing in mind, in the present investigation work there was designed a strategy composed by an action plan in which there develop a few programs, which seek to anticipate and to mitigate the impacts generated in MasterBatch's manufacture in the company Grupo Prime S.A.S. located in Jamundí-Valle del Cauca; for it an integral methodology developed applying limits stipulated in the GTC-93 to elaborate an environmental initial review (EIR), tools of cleaner production and finally designing the programs with his respective measures of managing. Based on the results of the environmental initial review and the application of cleaner production tools, and especially of the matrix of identification of aspects and environmental impacts and the ecomap, there was obtained that the zone of which there is made the MasterBatch of black color is the most critical to the interior of the plant and that the impact that more times presents along the productive process is the risk that it increases the morbidity of respiratory diseases due to the high concentrations of particular matter (PM) inside of the production plant, this owes principally to the use of dangerous and slightly friendly raw materials with the environment as the lamp black that consists principally of elementary coal in the shape of colloidal particles and without three-dimensional arrangement, and to the bad practices of operation added to the old, rudimentary, inefficient and obsolete technology. It becomes important to clarify that the environmental review or the initial diagnosis, and especially the identification of the aspects and environmental impacts of the organization, is a basic stage for the development of the rest of the work due to the fact that of there go out the zones and activities that must be prioritized at the moment of designing the programs that there allow to prevent and to mitigate the generation of environmental critical conditions, realizing an environmental initial management and to manage to improve the environmental performance of the organization.	eng
