dc.description.abstractEl desarrollo social, es un factor que se ha abordado desde diferentes puntos de vista de la pedagogía, uno de los más significativos lo resalta Vygotsky quien señala la importancia de los ambientes en los que el individuo se desenvuelve y que los aprendizajes que se desarrollan en estos aporten y trasciendan a todas las dimensiones del sujeto, para alcanzar dicho desarrollo social, se ha considerado necesario fomentar el desarrollo de habilidades específicas que representen un crecimiento social e integral. Teniendo en cuenta esto, la importancia del desarrollo de las habilidades sociales, representa primero el reconocimiento del sujeto que cuenta con estas habilidades o es capaz de desarrollarlas inmerso en un contexto que le permita alcanzar dicho fin, segundo encontrar una estrategia o herramienta que le permita incrementar o potenciar estas habilidades sociales, herramientas tales como el juego, el arte, o como es el caso de esta investigación el deporte, específicamente el rugby, un deporte que requiere una alta demanda física, pero también social y emocional y de muchos otros factores que pueden incidir tanto en el desarrollo del sujeto inmerso en esta práctica como en el desarrollo del juego en sí.spa
