    The research focuses on designing a proposal for the reduction of ergonomic risk in production processes in the company C.I. Millenium Flower S.A.S, where it is evident that there are no technical standards for the reduction of exposure to ergonomic risk in work stations, due to repetitive movements and load handling in production processes. To this end, the specific objectives consisted of the following: to diagnose the ergonomic risk in the company’s production processes, to propose strategies to reduce the level of ergonomic risk in the company’s production processes, to determine the costs and benefits of the proposal to reduce the level of ergonomic risk in the production processes. The research presented a descriptive, qualitative and interpretative, exploratory and field methodology. The population and sample consist of 20 people who work in the processes of sowing, harvest, post-harvest and packing of the company. The results imply that the workers of this economic sector in the cultivation of flowers crop are highly exposed to ergonomic risk, where environmental conditions play an important role due to the intensity, frequency and load of the activities carried out as well as the individual conditions of each of the workers; since it is directly associated with the employment and use of certain body regions. It is concluded that the design of guidelines is of vital importance, because it allows to generate safe work practices, achieving that the companies are conscious to watch over the safety of their workers.
