dc.description.abstractDesde hace 25 años, en 1979 la empresa Las Flores S.A. se ha venido interesando por el tema ambiental ya que este es un factor importante para el sostenimiento de un cultivo de flores. Desde su fundación la empresa ha tratado de tener una buena relación con el medio ambiente pero esto no ha sido suficiente debido a que las normas ambientales que existen actualmente son cada vez más exigentes, pero gracias a que algunas de estas muestran las diferentes alternativas que hay para darle un mejor uso a los recursos naturales se puede evitar así el desgaste de la naturaleza minimizando un poco la contaminación y la producción de residuos sólidos que se generan en el transcurso del desarrollo y crecimiento de la flor. Es por esto que ahora se están haciendo los ajustes necesarios para la implementación de un sistema de gestión donde se integra la parte ambiental con la parte de salud ocupacional y de seguridad industrial, donde por medio de procedimientos, registros, capacitaciones, matrices y educación ambiental se le ayuda al personal de la empresa a instruirse y conscientizarse con respecto al manejo de los residuos sólidos, de la energía y del agua. Esto se realiza con el fin de que todos entiendan la relación que existe entre el hombre y los recursos que el medio ambiente proporciona y lo importante que esta debe ser en su entorno de trabajo.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishFor 25 years, in 1979, the company Las Flores S.A. has been interested in the environmental issue as this is an important factor for the sustainability of a flower crop. Since its foundation the company has tried to have a good relationship with the environment but this has not been enough because the environmental standards that exist today are increasingly demanding, but thanks to some of these show the different alternatives that exist to make better use of natural resources and can avoid the wear of nature minimizing some pollution and production of solid waste generated in the course of the development and growth of the flower. This is why we are now making the necessary adjustments for the implementation of a management system that integrates the environmental part with occupational health and industrial safety, where through procedures, records, training, matrices, and environmental education we help the company's personnel to become educated and aware of the management of solid waste, energy, and water. This is done so that everyone understands the relationship that exists between man and the resources that the environment provides and how important this should be in their work environment.eng
