Cancer is a disease characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells that can form tumors, which can be malignant or benign. According to the National Cancer Institute of the United States, it is estimated that in 2020 there were 19.3 million new cases of cancer and 10 million deaths worldwide, making cancer one of the leading causes of death globally. The most common types of cancer include breast, lung, colon, and prostate cancer. To identify the parameters for prescribing physical activity for patients with advanced lung, breast, prostate, and colorectal cancer, mediated by telemedicine to improve quality of life. A search was conducted in various databases such as Embase, ClinicalKey, PubMed, etc., between 2013 and the present, in texts in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. A total of 245 articles were gathered that met the inclusion criteria, focusing on adults over 18 years old with advanced prostate, lung, breast, and colorectal cancer, and studies on physical activity. Exclusion criteria included survivors, other stages of cancer, and articles without complete access.
