dc.description.abstractLas lesiones del nervio peroneo son poco frecuentes, pero es importante conocer su comportamiento clínico, factores asociados y resultados del tratamiento. Objetivo: Describir y evaluar relaciones entre variables sociodemográficas, clínicas y desenlaces en pacientes con diagnóstico de neuropatía del nervio peroneo superficial entre los años 2014 y 2023. Metodología: Se realizo un estudio observacional, de cohorte retrospectiva de 72 pacientes que fueron diagnosticados con la patología entre el año 2014 y el 2023. Se realizó en primer lugar una aproximación descriptiva, se realizó también un análisis bivariado de la información.
dc.description.abstractenglishInjuries to the superficial peroneal nerve are rare, yet understanding their clinical behavior, associated factors, and treatment outcomes is crucial. Objective: To describe and evaluate relationships among sociodemographic, clinical variables, and outcomes in patients diagnosed with superficial peroneal neuropathy between 2014 and 2023. Methodology: An observational, retrospective cohort study was conducted on 72 patients diagnosed with superficial peroneal neuropathy between 2014 and 2023. The study employed a descriptive approach and conducted bivariate analysis.
