| spa |
dc.description.abstractenglish | This work seeks for a proposal of a tool that will generate spaces for an intercultural dialogue in a health institution that will allow to understand in a systematic, argued and formal way the needs of patients in relation to their care processes. Taking into account their moral guidelines, giving them space to prefer their preferences based on their culture, customs and morals. After doing a brief recapitalization of the native history in our Country, it is evident how the native perspectives were made totally invisible by the Spanish Crown since and during the colonization process, meaning this the loss of native customs and practices that include traditional medicine. Taking into account the characteristic paternalism of the practice of allopathic medicine, we can put on the table the difficulty that this entails for health teams to build spaces for intercultural dialogue and the relationship with ancestral medicine. During the time of study and development of this work, it has been developed a care model through institutional spaces for intercultural dialogues, promoting mutual recognition from bioethical perspective based on Principialism and always seeking respect for autonomy, nonmaleficence, beneficence and the justice for all patients belonging to native ethnic groups such as the Arhuaca, Yukpa, Wiwa and Wayú awareness and training of health teams, building a true intercultural relationship. | eng |
