El desarrollo de este proyecto se plantea teniendo en cuenta las nuevas alternativas que brindó la posibilidad del estudio y trabajo en casa tras la pandemia del coronavirus. Se identifico una falta de exploración en cuanto a ¿Qué hace falta en los hogares? Y ¿Cómo se relacionan los objetos con el espacio dentro del hogar? Se encontró que la oportunidad de diseño está en el desarrollo de mobiliario para hogares, teniendo en cuenta sus características espaciales y el contexto de quienes deciden independizarse. Se plantea el desarrollo de un escritorio que logre satisfacer las necesidades del usuario de la mejor manera y aprovechar el espacio.
El contexto para el cual se desarrolló el producto es el de apartamentos desde los 30m, ya que como demostraron los procesos de investigación primaria (encuestas, entrevistas) y secundaria (fuentes de investigación), la mayor parte del target (millennials) habitan en apartamentos pequeños, que no cuentan con un espacio determinado para realizar las actividades del día a día dentro del hogar.
A raíz de esto surge NAMKU un mobiliario inspirado en la técnica del Kusudama (origami), ya que teniendo en cuenta el contexto y la investigación del proyecto, el objeto satisface las necesidades del usuario aprovechando de la mejor manera el espacio, brindándole a la persona la posibilidad de disminuir sus dimensiones.
A través de la combinación de madera y mecanismos metálicos NAMKU permite al usuario una fácil interacción con las distintas superficies y piezas móviles del objeto, permitiendo a la persona manejar distintas superficies a distintas alturas y longitudes con respecto a las necesidades de la actividad. Brindando así un área de trabajo versátil, cómoda y adaptable a distintos tipos de usuarios y actividades, a un precio asequible para el target seleccionado.

Abstract
The development of this project is proposed taking into account the new alternatives offered by the possibility of studying and working at home after the coronavirus pandemic. A lack of exploration was identified in terms of What is missing in homes? And how do objects relate to space within the home? It was found that the design opportunity lies in the development of furniture for homes, taking into account their spatial characteristics and the context of those who decide to become independent. The development of a desk that meets the needs of the user in the best way and takes advantage of the space is proposed.
The context for which the product was developed is that of apartments from 30m, because as demonstrated by the processes of primary research (surveys, interviews) and secondary (research sources), most of the target (millennials) live in small apartments, which do not have a certain space for day-to-day activities within the home.
As a result of this, NAMKU arises a furniture inspired by the technique of Kusudama (origami), since taking into account the context and the research of the project, the object meets the needs of the user making the best use of the space, giving the person the possibility of reducing its dimensions.
Through the combination of wood and metal mechanisms NAMKU allows the user an easy interaction with the different surfaces and moving parts of the object, allowing the person to handle different surfaces at different heights and lengths with respect to the needs
of the activity. Thus, providing a versatile, comfortable and adaptable work area for different types of users and activities, at an affordable price for the selected target.
