Resumen
Los aparatos tecnológicos se han convertido en objetos indispensables para la sociedad, y conforme a esto se ha visto un incremento en la utilización del celular en los niños. Para las nuevas generaciones, el mundo gira alrededor de lo digital y lo virtual, debido a que estos se encuentran de manera frecuente en sus entornos; aun así, se ha observado que el uso continuo de los diferentes dispositivos tecnológicos puede traer consecuencias negativas, como dependencia, estrés, ansiedad, depresión, cambios de humor y alteración de sueño, y puede afectar las dimensiones del desarrollo infantil, como la parte socioafectiva y del lenguaje.
Sin embargo, se ha comprobado que el empleo de dichos dispositivos puede representar también una serie de beneficios, como el apoyo de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), las cuales son cada vez más utilizadas en el aula con la intención de mejorar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje para que los estudiantes alcancen de una forma más sencilla y divertida los objetivos que se proponen por medio de la variedad de herramientas didácticas disponibles, lo que evita el aburrimiento y favorece el interés y la motivación.
Por ello, este trabajo de grado tuvo como propósito identificar los efectos del uso de aparatos electrónicos en el desarrollo de una muestra de niños y niñas entre los 8 y 10 años de la localidad de Bosa, para lo cual fue necesario realizar una indagación teórica respecto a temas como las TIC, las tecnologías del aprendizaje y del conocimiento (TAC), y las tecnologías del empoderamiento y la participación (TEP); el internet y su impacto en los niños y niñas; los aparatos tecnológicos; el impacto del uso de la tecnología en el entorno familiar; las acciones preventivas; y, por último, el desarrollo social de los niños y niñas entre los 8 y 10 años. Por consiguiente, se tuvo en cuenta una metodología de estudio de caso, que ayudó a recolectar los datos necesarios para obtener y analizar los resultados de forma cualitativa y cuantitativa, pues estos fueron la base informativa para lograr el objetivo de la investigación.
De esta forma, se elaboró la herramienta para la recolección de información (entrevista), la cual se aplicó a los niños, padres de familia y un docente experto en tecnología; ello, a fin de ampliar el análisis y cumplir el objetivo, este es, comprender el impacto del uso de la tecnología en los niños de entre 8 y 10 años y sus entornos familiares.
Igualmente, el docente contribuyó con una mirada analítica y profesional, la cual ayudó a comprender por qué el mal uso de la tecnología se ve reflejado en tantos entornos, y cuáles serían los beneficios que esta podría brindar a cada una de las personas que la utilizan, ya sea para su entorno escolar, para su propio aprendizaje o intereses, o para su tiempo libre. Lo anterior, en tanto que es posible tomar conciencia sobre los límites que hay que tener con los dispositivos electrónicos.

Abstract
Technological devices have become indispensable for society and, accordingly, there has been an increase in the use of cell phones in children. For new generations, the world revolves around the digital and the virtual elements, because these are frequently found in their environments; even so, it has been observed that the continuous use of different technological devices can bring negative consequences, such as dependency, stress, anxiety, depression, mood changes and sleep disturbance, and can affect the dimensions of child development, such as the socio-affective and the language aspects.
However, it has been proven that the use of these devices can also represent a series of benefits, such as the support of information and communication technologies (ICTs), which are increasingly used in the classroom with the intention of improving the teaching and learning process, so that students achieve the objectives set in a simpler and more fun way through the variety of teaching tools available, which helps avoid boredom and promotes interest and motivation.
Therefore, the purpose of this degree work was to identify the effects of the use of electronic devices on the development of a sample of boys and girls between 8 and 10 years old in the town of Bosa, for which it was necessary to carry out a theoretical investigation regarding topics such as ICTs, the learning and knowledge technologies (TAC), and the technologies of empowerment and participation (TEP); the internet and its impact on boys and girls; technological devices; the impact of the use of technology in the family environment; preventive actions; and, finally, the social development of boys and girls between 8 and 10 years old. Consequently, a case study methodology was taken into account, which helped collect the necessary data to obtain and analyze the results qualitatively and quantitatively, since these were the information base to achieve the objective of the research.
In this way, the tool for collecting information (interview) was developed, and this was applied to the children, parents and a teacher who was an expert in technology; this, in order to expand the analysis and meet the objective, that is, to understand the impact of the use of technology on children between 8 and 10 years old and their family environments.
Likewise, the teacher contributed with an analytical and professional perspective, which helped understand why the misuse of technology is reflected in so many environments, and what benefits it could provide to each person who uses it, whether for their school environment, for their own learning or interests, or for their free time. The above, since it is possible to become aware of the limits that should be considered with electronic devices.
