dc.description.abstractDeterminar la carga de enfermedad por cáncer de ovario en Colombia entre el periodo de 2015-2020 a través de los años de vida ajustados por discapacidad (DALYs). Materiales y métodos: estudio de carga de enfermedad para determinar los DALYs producidos por cáncer de ovario en Colombia con pesos de discapacidad de 0.25 y 1.0. La unidad de análisis fueron los registros de mortalidad del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadísticas DANE de acuerdo al código CIE10 (C56X). Resultados. La morbilidad y mortalidad entre 2015-2020 en Colombia por cáncer de ovario presentó una tendencia al incremento. La tendencia más alta se encuentra en el grupo de 60-69 años. Discusión. La carga de enfermedad por cáncer de ovario en Colombia ha aumentado en los últimos años, presentando un pico significativo y de discapacidad en el año 2019.

Materials and Methods: study of the burden of disease to determine DALYs caused by ovarian cancer in Colombia with disability weights of 0.25 and 1.0. The unit of analysis was the mortality records of the National Administrative Department of Statistics by CIE10 code (C56X). Results: morbidity and mortality between 2015-2020 in Colombia due to ovarian cancer presented an increasing trend. The highest trend is found in the 60-69 age group. Discussion. The burden of disease from ovarian cancer in Colombia has increased in recent years, presenting a significant peak and disability in 2019.
