dc.description.abstract	Esta investigación busca evaluar los impactos ambientales generados por un cultivo de quinua en el municipio de Tuta, en el departamento de Boyacá. Esto con el fin de realizar recomendaciones en el proceso que puedan reducir los impactos ambientales generados. Utilizando la metodología de análisis de ciclo de vida se evaluaron los impactos relacionados con el cultivo de 50 kg de quinua. El método de análisis utilizado fue ReCiPe 2008 que fue corrido en el software SimaPro 8.5 que estiman los impactos ambientales. Para este análisis se tuvieron en cuenta 4 subsistemas del cultivo, el primero la preparación del suelo, la segunda el riego, el tercero los fertilizantes e insecticidas y el ultimo la cosecha. Se identificaron que los puntos críticos fueron toxicidad no cancerígena humana con 5,02 kg 1,4-DCB, calentamiento global 2,97 kg CO2, ecotoxicidad terrestre 1,24 kg 1,4-DCB, escasez de recursos fósiles 1,02 kg de oil eq. Teniendo en cuenta los puntos críticos se recomendó el cambio de tipo de riego a uno por goteo o el uso de bombeo fotovoltaico que reduce la cantidad de GHG.	spa
dc.description.abstractenglish	This research seeks to evaluate the environmental impacts generated by a quinoa crop in Tuta, Boyacá. The aim of the investigation is to generate recommendations that can be applied to the process, once these are applied the environmental impacts can be reduced. Using the methodology of life cycle analysis, the impacts related to the cultivation of 50 kg of quinoa were evaluated. The analysis method used was ReCiPe 2008, in SimaPro 8.5 that estimated the environmental impacts. For this analysis, 4 subsystems of the crop were taken into account, the first the preparation of the soil, the second the irrigation, the third the fertilizers and insecticides and the last the harvest. The critical points were identified as non-carcinogenic human toxicity with 5.02 kg 1,4-DCB, global warming 2.97 kg CO2, earth ecotoxicity 1.24 kg 1,4-DCB, shortage of fossil resources 1.02 kg of oil eq. Taking into account the critical points, it was recommended to change the type of irrigation to one by drip and the use of photovoltaic pumping that reduces the amount of GHG.	eng
