Resumen
This article addresses the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the writing of academic texts and
proposes an authorship scale to assess the AI's contribution at three levels. Through a study involving AI experts
and academic evaluation, the challenges in assessing AI-assisted texts, the importance of establishing
authorship, and the key principles guiding authorship attribution in this context are examined. The results support
the need to address authorship in AI-generated texts.

Abstract
Este artículo aborda la creciente influencia de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la redacción de textos académicos
y propone una escala de autoría para evaluar la contribución de la IA en tres niveles. A través de un estudio que
involucra a expertos en IA y evaluación académica, se examinan las dificultades en la evaluación de textos
asistidos por IA, la importancia de establecer la autoría, y los principios clave que deberían guiar la atribución de
autoría en este contexto. Los resultados respaldan la necesidad de abordar la autoría en textos generados por
IA.
