dc.description.abstract	Este es un proyecto de investigación que pretende mostrar las afectaciones en términos de Salud Ambiental a causa de la minería de Ecosistema Estratégico de Alta Montaña de Iberoamérica, específicamente en el páramo Jurisdicciones Santurbán-Berlín, mediante la elaboración de un modelo de Geosalud, el cual se expondrá en el Atlas de Cambio Climático de las Américas, pues se está realizando una investigación participativa entre instituciones académicas y gubernamentales de índole nacional e internacional, entre ellas la Universidad El Bosque. De acuerdo con las información adquirida y la interrelación de los componentes geográficos que se realizaron mediante la elaboración del modelo, se establece que la funcionalidad y estructura de la zona de estudio presenta actividades ganaderas, mineras y de subsistencia con el objetivo de generar un desarrollo productivo que ha provocado una transformación significativa en sus coberturas naturales, alterando asimismo la regulación hídrica, su calidad, evidenciando un aumento de enfermedades ligadas a las prácticas, como IRA, afecciones gastrointestinales, cutáneas que también se encuentran al ligadas con el incremento acelerado de la temperatura entre otras. Por ende, se recomienda fortalecer la articulación entre las entidades para generar y establecer un mecanismo de monitoreo de las variables hidroclimáticas a mayor escala espacial y temporal.	spa
dc.description.abstractenglish	This is a research Project that aims to show the effects in terms of Environmental Health due to mining of the High Mountain Strategic Ecosystem of Ibero-America, specifically in the Jurisdicciones Santurbán-Berlín moorland, through the elaboration of a Geosalud model, which it will be exhibited in the Atlas of Climate Change of the Americas, as a participatory research is being carried out between academic and governmental institutions of national and international nature, including El Bosque University. According to the information of the geographical components that were made through the elaborations of the model, it is established that the functionality and structure of the study area presents livestock, mining and subsistence activities with the objective of generation a productive development which has caused a significant transformation in its natural coverage, also altering the water regulation, its, quality, evidencing an increase in diseases lined to practices, such as IRA (In Spanish: Infección respiratoria aguda), gastrointestinal, skin conditions that are also associated with the accelerated increase in temperature among other. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen the articulation between entities to generated and stablish a mechanism for monitoring hydroclimatic variables on a larger spatial and temporal scale.	eng
