Paul Feyerabend reveals the metaphysical assumptions implicit in the principle of complementarity of Niels Bohr. He notes the need to examine rationally these assump-tions in order to prevent them from degenerating into dogmas that obstruct the progress of quantum theory. The objective of the article is showing how from the criticism of the ontological assumptions of the principle of complementarity our philosopher begins to draft his theoretical pluralism and, in definitively, a model of science where metaphysical reflection not only plays an important pre-scientific role, but is in itself where resolves the course of scientific activity. We think that epistemologist pluralism, far from destroy the science and promote the irrationalism which habitually adjudge itself, indicate us a possible and authentic solution to the science-metaphysics relationship problemeng
