Resumen
Gracias a los avances de la medicina y la disponibilidad de nuevas tecnologías se han podido brindar nuevas opciones de tratamiento a enfermedades previamente intratables. En respuesta a las necesidades y posibilidades reproductivas de la población nace la subrogación uterina. La subrogación brinda la posibilidad a una mujer de ser madre a pesar de que el cáncer, la infertilidad, e incluso la ausencia del útero le impidan cumplir su deseo de paridad. A través de este trabajo se describen las implicaciones bioéticas, la historia, el marco legal y el punto de vista del autor en torno a la subrogación uterina

Abstract
Thanks to advances in medicine and the availability of new technologies, new treatment options have been offered to previously untreatable diseases. In response to the reproductive needs and possibilities of the population, uterine surrogacy is born. Surrogacy offers a woman the possibility of becoming a mother despite the fact that cancer, infertility, and even the absence of the uterus prevent her from fulfilling her desire for parity. Through this work, the bioethical implications, the history, the legal framework and the author's point of view regarding uterine surrogacy are described.
