Análisis de las problemáticas alrededor de la traducción de inglés a español en las canciones de teatro musical

Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo exponer los diferentes elementos que interfieren al traducir una obra de teatro musical, así como el papel de la traducción en la percepción del espectador frente a la obra. Para esto, se toman como objeto de estudio las canciones No Good Deed del musical Wicked en su versión mexicana y Wouldn’t It Be Loverly del musical The Sound Of Music en su versión española. En primer lugar se llevó a cabo una definición de los conceptos básicos que giran en torno al teatro musical, la traducción y la música, paralelamente se realizó un análisis comparativo entre las canciones seleccionadas en tres versiones distintas, la versión original, la traducción oficial al español y la traducción literal de cada una; posteriormente el análisis se clasificó en categorías para así entender cuáles son los aspectos que se tienen en cuenta a la hora de realizar una traducción de una canción de teatro musical y cuales son los mayores obstáculos durante el proceso.

Abstract
This investigation aims to expose the different elements that interfere when translating musical theater plays, as well to expose the role of translation in the viewer’s perception of the play, for this, the Mexican version of the song No good deed from the musical Wicked and the song Wouldn´t it be loverly from the musical My fair lady in its Spanish version, are taken as objects of study. In the first place, a definition of the basic concepts that revolve around musical theater, translation and music is carried out, in parallel a comparative analysis was made between the songs selected in three different versions: the original version, the official translation into Spanish, and the literal translation of each one; later the analysis was classified into categories in order to understand what are the aspects that are taken into account when translating a musical theater song and what are the biggest obstacles during the process.
