dc.description.abstractLa seguridad del paciente es una prioridad en la actualidad, al punto de ser un requisito de obligatorio cumplimiento en todas las instituciones de salud y un pilar fundamental en la gestión de calidad del cuidado que se brinda a los usuarios. El presente proyecto pretende determinar cuál es la percepción que tiene el personal sanitario del Hospital Naval de Cartagena sobre la cultura de la seguridad del paciente, teniendo en cuenta que esta es una institución de salud perteneciente a las fuerzas militares y por ende al régimen de excepción. Este nivel de percepción se medirá aplicando el cuestionario ‘Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture’, diseñado por la Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ). Se realizará un estudio con un enfoque cualitativo, tipo de investigación descriptiva exploratoria y de diseño transversal, la muestra del estudio será el 45 por ciento del personal sanitario del Hospital Naval de Cartagena de los servicios asistenciales. La muestra fue obtenida por muestreo aleatorio simple. Las variables para estudiar son: Características sociodemográficas: Edad, género, antigüedad en la institución, cargo, horas laborales semanales, tipo de contrato. La percepción de cultura de seguridad será medida por dimensiones, las cuales en total son 12. A través de esta investigación se espera determinar si la percepción sobre la cultura de seguridad del paciente en el personal sanitario del Hospital Naval de Cartagena se afecta de forma positiva, negativa o no representa riesgo al pertenecer al régimen de excepción o régimen especial.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishPatient safety is a priority today, to the point of being a mandatory requirement in all health institutions and a fundamental pillar in the management of quality of care provided to users. This project aims to determine which is the perception that the health personnel of the Hospital Naval de Cartagena about the culture of patient safety, considering that it is a health institution that belongs to the military forces and therefore to the exception regime. This perception level will be measured by applying the 'Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture' questionnaire, designed by the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ). A study will be carried out with a qualitative approach, type of exploratory descriptive research and cross-sectional design, the study sample will be 45 percent of the health personnel of the Hospital Naval de Cartagena of the healthcare services. The sample was obtained by simple random sampling. The variables to study are: Sociodemographic characteristics: Age, gender, seniority in the institution, position, weekly working hours, type of contract. The safety culture perception will be measured by dimensions, which in total are 12.Through this research, it is hoped to determine whether the perception of the patient safety culture in the health personnel of the Hospital Naval de Cartagena is affected in a positive or negative way, or does not represent a risk by belonging to the exception or special regime.eng
