The research investigates the scientific literature in various databases that present evidence of the variables fatigue, catastrophizing and sleep in relation to Fibromyalgia Syndrome. The study of conceptual theoretical cut from a narrative review filters the articles in the databases ScienceDirect, Scielo, Dialnet and Pubmed of the last five years (2018-2023). Within the main results, the evidence supports, that performing physical exercise decreases symptoms, resulting in less pain, restful sleep and better quality of life, a more satisfactory perception of life and fewer symptoms of depression. Finally, and with respect to fatigue, the analyses suggest that it is significantly related to physiological aspects such as sleep quality and psychological aspects such as catastrophizing. What has been found in the scientific literature evidences the importance of an integral and multidisciplinary management in the treatment of this syndrome, including the adequate management of catastrophizing and sleep disorders, which allows to address fatigue effectively and contribute, together with pharmacological management, to the improvement of the quality of life of those who suffer from the syndrome; however, specific studies are suggested to provide more evidence of the importance of these variables in the integral management of the syndrome.
