Resumen
Este proyecto se desarrolló con el fin de encontrar posibles puntos de acción en los oficios artesanales a base de mimbre, donde se buscó integrar los procesos y materiales de la nueva industria, buscando exaltar las técnica y el oficio del tejido de mimbre buscando nuevos nichos de mercado enfocados en su comercialización de la mano del diseño y la industria, teniendo como referencia el trabajo de campo realizado y la investigación previa de tipos de tejido, proceso de producción, referencias conceptuales, entre otros.
Para esto se realizaron varias comprobaciones con procesos industriales y materiales, donde su principal objetivo encontrar tonos, estructuras, patrones y texturas, que generen atractivo visual y sensaciones táctiles en las piezas, respetando el oficio, la tradicionalidad de la artesanía y sus artesanos.
Todo se realizó en dos etapas donde la primera fue trabajo de campo, investigación e identificación de posibles puntos de acción, donde se comprendió sus procesos, los tipos de tejido, la materia prima y sus características, para así realizar comprobaciones de la fibra para posteriormente plantear hipótesis acerca de las pruebas realizadas. En la segunda etapa se plantearon una colección de nueve diseños sobre las hipótesis planteadas, se hicieron comprobaciones de estas y se interactuó directamente con el artesano buscando verificar las distintas hipótesis.
Esta colección de nueve piezas son una parte de lo que se puede lograr integrando la industria con los oficios artesanales de mimbre, con exploración hacia nuevos lenguajes visuales, generando técnicas de atractivo visual y un desarrollo de la neo-artesanía.

Abstract
This project was developed in order to find possible points of action in the craft trades based on wicker, where it was sought to integrate the processes and materials of the new industry, seeking to exalt the techniques and the craft of wicker weaving, seeking new market niches focused on its commercialization by the hand of design and industry, taking as a reference the field work carried out and the previous investigation of types of fabric, production process, conceptual references, among others.
For this, several checks were carried out with industrial processes and materials, where their main objective is to find tones, structures, patterns and textures, which generate visual appeal and tactile sensations in the pieces, respecting the trade, the traditionality of crafts and their artisans.
Everything was carried out in two stages where the first was field work, investigation and identification of possible points of action, where their processes, the types of fabric, the raw material and their characteristics were understood, in order to carry out controls of fiber for later formulating hypotheses about the tests performed. In the second stage, a collection of nine designs was proposed on the hypotheses raised, these were verified and they interacted directly with the craftsman seeking to verify the different hypotheses.
This collection of nine pieces is part of what can be achieved by integrating the industry with wicker crafts, with the exploration towards new visual languages, generating techniques of visual appeal and a development of the new-craft.
