Cáncer de boca, cáncer de laringe, y cáncer de tiroides: Carga de enfermedad en Colombia, 2015-2022

dc.description.abstractObjetivo. Estimar la carga de enfermedad del cáncer de boca, laringe y tiroides en Colombia 2015-2022. Métodos. Estudio Se realizó un estudio ecológico de carga de enfermedad, descriptivo y transversal en población colombiana con diagnóstico según CIE-10 de cáncer de boca, cáncer de laringe y cáncer de tiroides, basado en metodología Murray y López información obtenida de Sistema Integrado de Información de la Protección Social (SISPRO) y el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) 2015 y 2022 Resultados. La carga de enfermedad de CA de boca, laringe y tiroides en Colombia entre el 2015 y 2022 respectivamente fue de 34,04, 5,13 y 57,74 años de vida ajustados por discapacidad (AVAD) por cada 1000000 habitantes con mayor peso porcentual en personas entre los 60 a 69 años para los tres tipos de cáncer y sexo masculino para CA de boca y laringe y femenino para CA de tiroides. Conclusión. El CA de boca, Ca de laringe y CA de tiroides, son causantes de un valor de AVAD significativos, con mayor representatividad en CA de tiroides, sin embargo, el diagnóstico tardío y/o su diagnóstico afecta el análisis de la información disponible.
dc.description.abstractenglishObjective. To estimate the disease burden of oral, laryngeal and thyroid cancer in Colombia 2015-2022. Methods. An ecological study of disease burden, descriptive and cross-sectional was conducted in Colombian population with diagnosis according to ICD-10 of mouth cancer, laryngeal cancer and thyroid cancer, based on Murray and Lopez methodology information obtained from the Integrated Information System of Social Protection (SISPRO) and the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) 2015 and 2022. Results. The burden of disease of CA of mouth, larynx and thyroid in Colombia between 2015 and 2022 respectively was 34.04, 5.13 and 57.74 disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) per 1000000 inhabitants with higher percentage weight in people between 60 to 69 years for the three types of cancer and male sex for CA of mouth and larynx and female for CA of thyroid. Conclusion. CA of the mouth, CA of the larynx and CA of the thyroid are the cause of significant DALYs, with greater representation in CA of the thyroid; however, late diagnosis and/or its diagnosis affects the analysis of the available information.
