dc.description.abstractenglish | Reducing the risks of self-harm are objectives in psychiatric care. Dog-assisted therapy (TAP) arises with this objective. However, the evidence of its effect is still inconclusive. The relationship between self-injurious behavior and TAP was evaluated in the child and adolescent population of a day clinic program, in order to objectify its effect. To measure the effect of TAP on self-injurious behavior in adolescents in a day clinic program. Experimental study with six sessions of TAP. A hetero-applied collection form was applied with the Self Harm Risk Questionnaire, BARRAT 11 and Columbia scale scales, at the beginning and at the end of the protocol. There were 23 participants in each group.
