dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio se realizó con el Objetivo de interpretar los conocimientos de un grupo de adolescentes escolarizados en una institución educativa pública de Bogotá, acerca de los derechos sexuales y reproductivos que favorecen la prevención del embarazo en esta etapa. Metodología: Se trató de un estudio cualitativo en el que participaron 38 adolescentes, mujeres y hombres con edades entre 14 y 17 años. La información se recogió a través de un cuestionario de preguntas abiertas sobre el tema de estudio, que fue diligenciado individualmente en los computadores del colegio. Se aplicaron las consideraciones éticas contempladas en la Resolución 008430 del Ministerio de Salud y el Código de Ética de Enfermería, haciendo énfasis en la privacidad y fidelidad. Todos los participantes firmaron voluntariamente el Asentimiento informado y sus padres autorizaron su participación con la firma voluntaria del Consentimiento informado. Resultados: se observó que los adolescentes tienen grandes limitaciones en conocimientos sobre los Derechos Sexuales y Reproductivos - DSR, puesto que, según sus expresiones, son sinónimo de relaciones sexuales. Conclusiones: Las limitaciones en conocimientos se hacen más notorias cuando la mayoría de participantes afirman que los DSR comienzan en la adolescencia o cuando se inician las relaciones sexuales; también en su mayoría expresan que hay personas con más DSR que otras, dependiendo de la frecuencia con que tienen relaciones sexuales. Con respecto a DSR que favorecen la prevención del embarazo en la adolescencia, algunos participantes expresaron total desconocimiento del tema, manifestando que nunca habían escuchado sobre esos derechos. Pero, en el momento de mencionarles algunos derechos y pedirles que explicaran de qué manera esos derechos podían prevenir el embarazo en la adolescencia, expresaron mejores conocimientos.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present study was carried out with the objective of interpreting the knowledge of a group of adolescents enrolled in a public educational institution in Bogotá, about sexual and reproductive rights that favor the prevention of pregnancy at this stage. Methodology: This was a qualitative study in which 38 adolescents, women and men aged between 14 and 17 years old participated. The information was collected through an open questions’ questionnaire on the study topic, with answers individually on the school's computers. Ethical indications were taken into account contemplated in Resolution 008430 of the Ministry of Health and the Nursing Code of Ethics was applied, emphasizing privacy and fidelity. All the participants voluntarily signed the Informed assent and their parents authorized their participation with the voluntary signature of the Informed Consent. Results: it was found that adolescents have great limitations in knowledge about Sexual and Reproductive Rights - DSR, since, according to their expressions, they are synonymous with sexual relations. Conclusions: The limitations in knowledge become more noticeable when the majority of the participants affirm that RSD begin in adolescence or when sexual relations begin; They also express that there are people with more DSR than others, according the frequency with which they have sexual relations. Regarding SRR that favor the prevention of teenage pregnancy, some participants expressed total ignorance of the subject, stating that they had never heard of these rights. But, at the time that some rights are specified and asked to explain how those rights favor prevention teenage pregnancy, they expressed better knowledge.eng
