Resumen
Dignificando la oscuridad es un proyecto que está dirigido a las personas privadas de la libertad (PPL) en Colombia en condición de condenados, lo que se buscó con este proyecto no fue únicamente realizar el diseño de un uniforme con el que los PPL puedan realizar sus actividades, sino generar una experiencia y darles la oportunidad de vivir una estadía más digna durante toda su condena. Este proyecto se trabajó junto con la Universidad El Bosque y el Instituto Nacionsal Penitenciario de Colombia (INPEC) en el periodo de un año 2020 -2021, donde se realizó un proyecto de diseño con un enfoque social dándoles la oportunidad a los PPL de participar y ser escuchados. Todo el proyecto se trabajó bajo la metodología de Design Thinking ya que esta tiene un proceso centrado en el usuario y sus necesidades, donde no solo se tuvieron en cuenta necesidades materiales y productivas sino también sociales y psicológicas, logrando de esta forma cumplir con el objetivo principal y entregarle a el INPEC no solo un diseño funcional y versátil sino un diseño pensado en la realidad tan difícil que viven día a día los privados de la libertad. El nuevo diseño brinda la comodidad necesaria para la realización de las actividades y se adapta a una talla unisex tomando como guía el tallaje del hombre y de la mujer colombiana.

Abstract
Dignifying darkness is a project that is aimed at persons deprived of liberty (PPL) in Colombia in condition of conviction, what was sought with this project was not only to design a uniform with which the PPL can perform their activities, but to generate an experience and give them the opportunity to live a more dignified stay throughout their sentence. This project was worked together with El Bosque University and the National Penitentiary Institute of Colombia (INPEC) in the period of one year 2020 -2021, where a design project with a social approach was carried out, giving the PPL the opportunity to participate and be heard. The entire project was worked under the Design Thinking methodology since this has a process focused on the user and their needs, where not only material and productive needs were taken into account but also social and psychological, thus achieving the main objective and delivering to the INPEC not only a functional and versatile design but a design thought in the difficult reality that people deprived of liberty live day by day. The new design provides the necessary comfort for the realization of the activities and adapts to a unisex size taking as a guide the size of the Colombian man and woman.
