dc.description.abstract | El presente artículo media entre el mapeo de controversias realizado por las ciencias sociales y el análisis de controversias en red realizado desde las ciencias computacionales y estadísticas. Se aborda el conflicto Hamás-Israel desde una perspectiva crítica, analizando comentarios en español realizados en vídeos de principalmente de medios informativos en YouTube. Para su análisis, se estructuran siete categorías que definen el contenido de dichos comentarios. La categorización fue realizada automáticamente a través de un método de clasificación supervisado con “Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers” (BERT) programado en Python. Los 253.925 comentarios clasificados fueron analizados en su contexto y dispuesto como red de entidades en Gephi a partir de un mapeo de actores. Este artículo se propone como una investigación exploratoria de la controversia Hamás e Israel de comentarios en español entre octubre de 2023 y enero del 2024, además de una nueva apuesta metodológica en estudios de ciencia y tecnología. | |
dc.description.abstractenglish | This article mediates between the mapping of controversies carried out by the social sciences and the analysis of controversies in network carried out from the computational and statistical sciences. It addresses the Hamas-Israel conflict from a critical perspective, analyzing comments in Spanish made in videos of mainly media on YouTube. For its analysis, seven categories are structured that define the content of these comments. The categorization was done automatically through a classification method supervised with "Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers" (BERT) programmed in Python. The 253,925 classified comments were analyzed in context and arranged as a network of entities in Gephi from a mapping of actors. This article is proposed as an exploratory investigation of the Hamas and Israel controversy of comments in Spanish between October 2023 and January 2024, in addition to a new methodological commitment in science and technology studies. | |
