dc.description.abstractEste proyecto consiste en realizar una Caracterización Epidemiológica en el Barrio Guadalupe, debido a los problemas de salud pública que afectan de manera directa a los trabajadores y pobladores de la zona. Una Caracterización Epidemiológica, permite determinar los tipos de enfermedades causados por las actividades antrópicas del lugar, en este caso el Frigorífico Guadalupe y a su vez el Barrio Guadalupe; generando problemáticas debido al mal manejo de los residuos sólidos, del recurso hídrico y vertimientos al Río Tunjuelo. El mal manejo que se da ante estas actividades, está generando en el sector la proliferación de vectores tales como: Mosquitos, Ratas, Olores ofensivos, entre otros. Esto se logró identificar gracias a visitas técnicas de campo y la participación de algunas personas del sector, las cuales fueron de ayuda al momento de evaluar e identificar las problemáticas en el área de estudio. Es por tal motivo, que desde la Ingeniera Ambiental se pretenden establecer medidas preventivas, con la finalidad de mejorar el bienestar y la calidad de vida en el sector, en términos de salud pública e individual.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project consists in carrying out an Epidemiological Characterization in the Guadalupe neighborhood, due to public health problems that directly affect the workers and residents of the area. An Epidemiological Characterization, allows to determine the types of diseases caused by the anthropic activities of the place, in this case the establishment Guadalupe and in turn the Barrio Guadalupe; generating problems due to the mismanagement of solid waste, of the water resource and discharges to the Tunjuelo river. The mismanagement that occurs in these activities, are generating in the sector the proliferation of vectors such as: Mosquitoes, rats, offensive odors, among others. This was identified thanks to technical field visits and the participation of some people from the sector, which were helpful when evaluating and identifying the problems in the study area. For this reason, the Environmental Engineering aims to establish preventive measures, with the determination to improve the well-being and quality of life in the sector, in terms of public and individual health.eng
