| spa |
dc.description.abstractenglish | Introduction: anesthesia in surgical procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy over the years has generated a debate regarding the greater anesthetic effectiveness and the fewer adverse effects of the techniques, for which a review was carried out that aims to describe the advantages of the use of the inhaled and intravenous technique. Objective: to compare the characteristics of anesthetic induction with Sevoflurane and Propofol. Materials and methods: narrative review, patients in the age range between 18 and 65 years, of both sexes, ASA I-II, submitted to laparoscopic cholecystectomy were analyzed. Statistical techniques: Forest Plots were made in STATA version 16, qualitative data were made with absolute and percentage frequencies. Results: both techniques are a good option, however with Propofol a decrease in side effects was observed when awakening from anesthesia. Conclusion: the orientation and recovery of memory after the surgical procedure is better when using the intravenous technique. | eng |
