Resumen
La familia es el lugar donde el ser humano se desarrolla y por ende se implica como agente socializador primario, su objetivo primordial es aportar una base sólida para poder vivir. Siendo la familia una organización social debe cumplir por lo menos dos funciones, una de supervivencia, bienestar material y económico y otra relacionada con la seguridad social y afectiva de los miembros y la socialización (Rico & Maldonado, 2011). Dadas las múltiples situaciones que inquietan a un maestro y maestra frente a lo que viven niños y niñas, tras la separación de sus padres, si bien hoy día es una situación cada vez más naturalizada, lo que pasa emocionalmente en los infantes sigue siendo difícil. Y es que, si bien una de las principales funciones de la escuela es apoyar el proceso de formación de los estudiantes de manera integral, esta no se queda solo en el saber, sino que va más allá al hacer, y al ser, de allí que lo que le suceda a un estudiante afectivamente sea de gran importancia, pues ello influye en su aprendizaje. Según Aguado, L. (2010), a pesar de ser el de la familia uno de los temas más universales y cotidianos, ya que está en constante evolución en relación a los cambios socioculturales, a la escuela le cuesta responder a las necesidades que presentan, más si se tiene en cuenta la gran diversidad familiar que se presenta actualmente. El mismo autor sostiene que la mayoría de las veces que se aborda el tema de la familia en la escuela, se hace desde el prototipo principal de la familia nuclear compuesta por papá, mamá e hijos. Y es que los cambios a los que se enfrentan los niños influyen en su desarrollo personal, social y académico, en su adaptación a distintos entornos sociales respecto a la construcción que haga del concepto de familia Aguado (2010). Así las cosas, la familia y la escuela deben ser conscientes del significado de aquellas transformaciones, tomándolas en cuenta en el desarrollo de su trabajo educativo y estableciendo relaciones que permitan mejorar a la par sus funciones socializadoras y educadoras.

Abstract
The family is the place where the human being develops and therefore is involved as a primary socializing agent, its primary objective is to provide a solid base to be able to live. Being the family a social organization, it must fulfill at least two functions, one of survival, material and economic well-being and another related to the social and affective security of the members and socialization (Rico & Maldonado, 2011). Given the multiple situations that concern a teacher in the face of what boys and girls experience after the separation from their parents, although today it is an increasingly naturalized situation, what happens emotionally in infants is still difficult. And it is that, although one of the main functions of the school is to support the process of formation of the students in an integral way, this does not remain only in the knowledge, but goes beyond doing, and being, from there. that what happens to a student affectively is of great importance, since it influences their learning. According to Aguado, L. (2010), despite the fact that the family is one of the most universal and daily issues, since it is constantly evolving in relation to sociocultural changes, it is difficult for the school to respond to the needs that they present. , more so if the great family diversity that is currently present is taken into account. The same author maintains that most of the times the subject of the family is approached at school, it is done from the main prototype of the nuclear family made up of father, mother and children. And it is that the changes that children face influence their personal, social and academic development, in their adaptation to different social environments regarding the construction that Aguado (2010) makes of the family concept. Thus, the family and the school must be aware of the meaning of those transformations, taking them into account in the development of their educational work and establishing relationships that allow them to improve their socializing and educational functions at the same time.
