The article deals with the ontology of time in the theory of relativity, in relation to the temporal nature of objects. This is an aspect not explicitly addressed by structural realism in its version called “moderate structural realism”, which places objects and structures in the same ontological status. Thus, it is shown that in such a position there is a tension that is played around the temporal ontology of objects. That said, structural realism, given the argumentative stage in which it finds itself, is unable to muster sufficient arguments to account for this tension.en-US
