dc.description.abstractenglish | Ants, often overlooked in the hierarchy of animal intelligence, display surprising complexity in their collective behavior and adaptability to their environment. Although their tiny size and seemingly simple social structure may suggest a lack of cognitive sophistication, the underlying reality challenges these conventional perceptions. This work embarks on the exploration of intelligence in ants, seeking to argue and demonstrate that these social insects exhibit a unique form of intelligence that deserves closer and more appreciative attention.
