Resumen
El propósito del presente ensayo es visibilizar la importancia cultural que poseen las bebidas y saberes ancestrales de las comunidades afrocolombianas como lo es el viche. Esto debido a que se evidencia que una de sus bebidas de origen biocultural como el viche y sus derivados poseen beneficios en el diario vivir puesto que ayuda a cuidar la vida y la salud mediante los diversos usos que las comunidades afrodescendientes históricamente le han dado. Además, al tener una importancia ancestral se ha demostrado mediante testimonios su importante impacto en la convivencia y la construcción de un tejido social saludable en medio de un contexto violento como lo es el colombiano. Todo esto con el fin de lograr visibilizar la verdadera importancia de esta bebida de origen biocultural puesto que se evita caer en las estigmatizaciones que se han generalizado acerca del viche y se plantea la realidad en que se usa el viche y todo el recorrido que han hecho las personas fabricantes de este para lograr los avances sociales y jurídicos que existen hoy en día para que ellos y ellas puedan defender sus saberes y cultura

Abstract
The purpose of this essay is to make visible the cultural importance of the drinks and ancestral knowledge of Afro-Colombian communities such as viche. This is because it is evident that one of its drinks of biocultural origin such as viche and its derivatives have benefits in daily life since it helps to care for life and health through the various uses that Afro-descendant communities have historically given it. Furthermore, as it has ancestral importance, its important impact on coexistence and the construction of a healthy social fabric in the midst of a violent context such as the Colombian one has been demonstrated through testimonies. All this in order to make visible the true importance of this drink of biocultural origin since it avoids falling into the stigmatizations that have become widespread about viche and raises the reality in which viche is used and the entire journey they have taken. the people who make it to achieve the social and legal advances that exist today so that they can defend their knowledge and culture
