Resumen
El presente Research Report expone los componentes estructurales que fundamentan el producto de investigación “Colombia’s Guerrillas Dashboard”. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo general diseñar un tablero como una herramienta digital, open Access y especializada que permita una consulta centralizada y visualizar variables críticas para el análisis del fenómeno guerrillero en Colombia. Para ello la metodología ha contemplado cuatro grandes etapas de desarrollo del instrumento: identificación, análisis, clasificación y visualización digital de la información. A su vez, un conjunto de cinco fases con sus respectivos instrumentos técnicos ha permitido desde la evaluación de marcos teóricos para definir variables hasta el diseño final del dashboard.
La herramienta técnica que aquí se presenta como producto final responde a un proyecto en su primera etapa de desarrollo técnico. De manera que los avances y deficiencias potenciales deberán ser el punto de partida de una segunda etapa de perfeccionamiento de la herramienta, su publicación efectiva en el website del Semillero de investigación, Observatorio Político de las Américas, en el cual se formuló, y su libre circulación como una herramienta de visualización digital.

Abstract
The present Research Report presents the structural components that underpin the research product “Colombia’s Guerrillas Dashboard.” This research has as its general objective the design of a dashboard as a digital, open-access, and specialized tool that allows centralized consultation and visualization of critical variables for the analysis of the guerrilla phenomenon in Colombia. For this purpose, the methodology has contemplated four major stages in the development of the instrument: identification, analysis, classification, and digital visualization of the information. In turn, a set of five phases with their respective technical instruments has enabled everything from the evaluation of theoretical frameworks to define variables to the final design of the dashboard.
The technical tool presented here as the final product corresponds to a project in its first stage of technical development. Therefore, the advances and potential deficiencies should be the starting point for a second stage aimed at improving the tool, its effective publication on the website of the Research Seedbed, Political Observatory of the Americas, where it was conceived, and its free circulation as a digital visualization tool.
