dc.description.abstractEl fenómeno migratorio en América Latina y el Caribe ha tenido un impacto significativo en los indicadores materno-perinatales, pese a las regulaciones implementadas por cada país. Objetivo: Analizar la percepción de la atención materno-perinatal con enfoque en la humanización, a través de una revisión integrativa de la literatura. Método: Estudio de enfoque mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo), basado en una revisión integrativa. Discusión: Se evidencia la necesidad de brindar una atención digna y libre de discriminación a las gestantes migrantes, mediante la sensibilización del personal de salud, la implementación de políticas inclusivas y la adopción de un enfoque centrado en los derechos humanos. Resultados: Se identifican múltiples desafíos que enfrentan estas mujeres, como el acceso limitado a servicios de salud, las barreras culturales y la falta de preparación de los sistemas de salud para atender sus necesidades específicas. A pesar de los esfuerzos realizados, los indicadores de salud materna y perinatal no han mostrado mejoras proporcionales.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe migration phenomenon in Latin America and the Caribbean has had a significant impact on maternal and perinatal indicators, despite the regulations implemented by each country. Objective: To analyze the perception of maternal and perinatal care with a focus on humanization, through an integrative review of the literature. Method: A mixed-method study (qualitative and quantitative) based on an integrative review. Discussion: The need to provide dignified and discrimination-free care to migrant pregnant women is evident, through raising awareness among health personnel, implementing inclusive policies, and adopting a human rights-centered approach. Results: Multiple challenges faced by these women are identified, such as limited access to health services, cultural barriers, and the lack of preparedness of health systems to address their specific needs. Despite these efforts, maternal and perinatal health indicators have not shown proportional improvements.
