One of the main tasks of Biomedical Informatics is the creation and optimization of solutions for managing electronic health records. Upon identifying the need for a data recording and retrieval system in a Cardiovascular Prevention Center, an informatics tool will be developed to manage the information collected during the patient admission process. To construct this tool, an approach will be made to the SCRUM methodology as a development guide for an information system. The creation process of this tool begins with user-centered design and includes a structure of relational databases, a user interface focused on their workflow, and subsequent testing to evaluate its usability in terms of conceptual development. Finally, it will undergo data analytics testing to verify its utility as a platform aimed at facilitating research processes.
