Resumen
Nadie puede escapar a ser múltiple; en la casa que constituye nuestro ser habitan, en armonía o en conflicto, variadas manifestaciones de nosotros mismos. Somos poliedros que se adaptan a las circunstancias del tiempo, del espacio y de la interacción con los otros. Y aunque nos digamos “únicos”, para reconocernos, para no perdernos, hemos sido muchos, somos otros tantos y seremos montones. Esta condición es especialmente aguda para el escritor, quien no solo lidia con sus inquilinos personales, sino que además crea otros seres y, para hacer que vivan, debe habitarlos, darse a ellos y en ellos convertirse.
En la casa personal de Óscar Humberto Mejía proliferan las criaturas, que se asoman por cada resquicio para dejarse ver; se multiplican y se transforman dentro de la eficaz brevedad de los relatos en los que habitan. Crean con su existencia un juego que recuerda aquel infantil tiempo perdido en que observábamos fascinados las cambiantes formas de las nubes.
Cada relato que compone esta cuarta edición de la Colección Entre Letras apunta de alguna manera a esa multiplicidad. Desde la introducción conocemos la múltiple esencia de Baruch González repartido en suspicaces Baruches por cada rincón de una casa cuyas puertas dicen “no ir a ninguna parte”, pero que en realidad van a dar a los recovecos del tiempo y la memoria. Este libro no es solo una entretenida lectura, es también un original juego de aquellos que los amantes de la narrativa siempre buscamos en las colecciones de cuentos. Además, permite conocer la voz auténtica, rica y compleja de un escritor sobresaliente y prometedor.

Abstract
No one can escape being multiple. In the house that constitutes our being, various manifestations of ourselves live, in harmony or in conflict. We are polyhedrons that adapt to the circumstances of time, space and interaction with others. Although we call ourselves “unique”, to recognize ourselves, not to lose ourselves, we have been many, we are many others and we will be lots. This condition is especially acute for the writer, who not only deals with his personal tenants, but also creates other beings and, to make them live, must inhabit them, give himself to them and become them.
The creatures proliferate in the personal house of Óscar Humberto Mejía, those who appear at every gap to be seen. They multiply and transform within the effective brevity of the stories in which they live. With their existence, they create a game that remembers that childish lost time in which we watched in fascination the changing shapes of the clouds.
Each story of this fourth edition of the Entre Letras Collection somehow points to that multiplicity. From the introduction we know the multiple essence of Baruch González distributed in suspicious Baruches by each corner of a house whose doors say "go nowhere", but which in reality are going to give the recesses of time and memory. This book is not only an entertaining read, it is also an original game for those that lovers of narrative always look for in story collections. In addition, it allows to know the authentic, rich and complex voice of an outstanding and promising writer.
