Resumen
La Universidad El Bosque, en conjunto con el programa de Biología y el grupo de investigación GRIB (Grupo de investigaciones Biológicas) categoría A en Minciencias, ha demostrado su destacado compromiso a lo largo de los años en el fortalecimiento del sector rural y sus comunidades. Su enfoque se centra en la implementación de estrategias económicas y de conservación, así como la identificación de oportunidades que promuevan el desarrollo turístico, estas soluciones se adaptan a las necesidades específicas de cada población. Estas iniciativas revisten una importancia primordial, ya que permiten destacar y diferenciar cada destino, resaltan sus riquezas, atractivos y biodiversidad, y promoviendo un enfoque eficiente del turismo rural y comunitario que sea sostenible con el medio ambiente. Es relevante mencionar que este proyecto forma parte del macroproyecto del GRIB “Colombia y sus recursos”, el cual tiene como objetivo general implementar estrategias económicas y de conservación para fortalecer el sector rural, turístico y ambiental del municipio.

Abstract
El Bosque University, together with the Biology programme and the research group GRIB (Biological Research Group) category A in Minciencias, has demonstrated its outstanding commitment over the years to strengthening the rural sector and its communities. Their approach focuses on the implementation of economic and conservation strategies and the identification of opportunities that promote tourism development, these solutions are tailored to the specific needs of each population. These initiatives are of paramount importance, as they allow each destination to stand out and differentiate itself, highlighting its richness, attractions and biodiversity, and promoting an efficient approach to rural and community-based tourism that is environmentally sustainable. It is important to mention that this project is part of the GRIB's macro-project "Colombia and its resources", which has the general objective of implementing economic and conservation strategies to strengthen the rural, tourism and environmental sector of the municipality.
