Resumen
Como instituciones sociales, la familia y la escuela tienen una gran influencia en la vida de los seres humanos y comparten la misión de construir ambientes saludables (física, mental y espiritualmente) para las nuevas generaciones. Es imperativo, entonces, que establezcan una alianza, con miras a la formación de personas felices, autónomas, críticas y creativas. Sin embargo, numerosos factores –tanto sociales como individuales– pueden entorpecer este proceso. ¿Cómo fortalecer el vínculo entre familia y escuela? ¿Cómo hacer del contexto escolar un aliado de padres y madres para educar mejores hijos e hijas, mejores ciudadanos y ciudadanas? En esta investigación, desarrollada en nueve experiencias del primer ciclo de educación en Bogotá, la autora recoge las voces de padres, madres y docentes para identificar en ellas prácticas, saberes y sentires que pueden hacer posible el trabajo armónico. El resultado es la estrategia pedagógica «Creciendo juntos: familia y escuela», cuyos pilares son la comunicación, el apoyo y el reconocimiento mutuos.

Abstract
As social institutions, the family and the school have a great influence on the lives of human beings and share the mission of building healthy environments (physically, mentally and spiritually) for the new generations. It is imperative, then, that they establish an alliance, with a view to the formation of happy, autonomous, critical and creative people. However, numerous factors – both social and individual – can hinder this process. How to strengthen the bond between family and school? How to make the school context an ally of fathers and mothers to educate better sons and daughters, better citizens? In this research, developed in nine experiences of the first cycle of education in Bogotá, the author collects the voices of parents and teachers to identify in them practices, knowledge and feelings that can make harmonious work possible. The result is the pedagogical strategy «Growing Together: Family and School», whose pillars are mutual communication, support and recognition.
