Resumen
La herramienta de domesticación es una exploración performática y visual sobre el cuerpo femenino como territorio de control, memoria y resistencia. A partir de una experiencia infantil (la construcción de una muñeca que debía comportarse “correctamente”), la artista transforma esa figura en un símbolo de las normas que moldean la identidad y el deseo.
Entre el videoarte, la poesía y la performance, el proyecto reescribe las instrucciones que domesticaron su cuerpo, convirtiendo la obediencia en un gesto de subversión. La muñeca deja de ser un objeto pasivo para volverse una extensión viva, frágil y abyecta del yo. Inspirada por artistas como Louise Bourgeois, Cindy Sherman y Marina Abramović, la obra encarna la tensión entre docilidad y ruptura, entre la voz que repite órdenes y el cuerpo que decide fallar.
A través de imágenes, sonidos y versos, La herramienta de domesticación revela cómo las reglas que un día fueron impuestas pueden ser desmontadas desde la sensibilidad, hasta que solo quede un cuerpo que aprende a habitar su propia fisura.

Abstract
The Tool of Domestication is a performative and visual exploration of the female body as a site of control, memory, and resistance. Originating from a childhood memory (the creation of a doll meant to behave “properly”) the artist transforms that figure into a symbol of the rules that shape identity and desire.
Through video art, poetry, and performance, the project rewrites the very instructions that once disciplined her body, turning obedience into an act of subversion. The doll ceases to be a passive object and becomes a living, fragile, abject extension of the self. Inspired by artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Cindy Sherman, and Marina Abramović, the work embodies the tension between docility and fracture, between the voice that repeats orders and the body that chooses to fail.
Through images, sound, and verse, The Tool of Domestication exposes how the rules once imposed can be dismantled through sensitivity until all that remains is a body learning to inhabit its own rupture.
