Resumen
El signo de esta época es la sustitución de las relaciones naturales por procesos automatizados. Sabemos que nuestras vidas están regidas por la tecnología, convertida en la mediación obligatoria con el mundo, pero no hemos reflexionado sobre su efecto en nuestra percepción del tiempo y en nuestra libertad: si la racionalidad dominante es la de la técnica, no nos queda mucha capacidad de acción. Ante esta despolitización, que conviene al sistema neoliberal, corresponde a la bioética develar las trampas del poder e identificar responsabilidades epistémicas y éticas. Es lo que intenta hacer este libro, que en palabras del filósofo Mark Hun- yadi constituye “una notable contribución filosófica a lo que es a la vez lo más importante, pero también lo menos visible, en nuestra relación con la técnica, que hoy invade todos los dominios de la experiencia: nuestra relación con el tiempo”.

Abstract
The sign of this time is the replacement of natural relationships by automated processes. We know that our lives are ruled by technology, converted into the obliga- tory mediation with the world, but we have not reflected on its effect on our percep- tion of time and on our freedom: if the dominant rationality is that of technique, we do not have much capacity for action left. Faced with this depoliticization, which suits the neoliberal system, it is up to bioethics to unveil the traps of power and identify epistemic and ethical responsibilities. It is what this book tries to do. In the words of the philosopher Mark Hunyadi, it constitutes “a remarkable philosophical contribution to what is at once the most important, but also the least visible, in our relationship with technology, which today invades all domains of experience: our relationship with time”.
