Resumen
Suavidad interrumpida es una publicación que acompaña y expande un proceso escultórico basado en la transformación del peluche como objeto cargado de memoria afectiva. A través de textos y registros visuales, la publicación reflexiona sobre la relación entre lo blando y lo duro, el cuerpo, la herida y la reconstrucción, entendiendo la materialidad como un espacio donde se inscriben experiencias íntimas.
El proyecto aborda el peluche no como símbolo de inocencia, sino como un cuerpo atravesado por el tiempo, el uso y la pérdida. La incorporación del metal aparece como una interrupción material y simbólica que tensiona la suavidad, evidenciando procesos de defensa, sostén y resistencia. La publicación funciona como un archivo afectivo y reflexivo, donde palabra e imagen dialogan para dejar visible la fragilidad como una forma activa de permanencia y transformación.

Abstract
Suavidad interrumpida is a research-creation project that explores softness and hardness as material, symbolic, and affective categories. Through the intervention of plush toys combined with metal structures, the project reflects on the body, memory, affect, and transformation, understanding sculpture as a space where intimate experiences and processes of repair are inscribed.
The project takes the plush toy as an object charged with emotional memory and subjects it to processes of cutting, assembling, and reconstruction, incorporating rigid materials such as metal to create tensions between softness and hardness, protection and wound, childhood and adulthood. These material explorations engage with theoretical and artistic references such as Donald Winnicott, Roland Barthes, Louise Burgeois, Mike Kelley, and Sara Ahmed, whose work allows the object, trauma, and touch to be understood as sites of transformation.
Through sculptural practice, Suavidad interrumpida proposes that fragility does not necessarily imply weakness, and that hardness can also function as a form of care. The project inhabits an in-between space where body, material, and memory continuously affect one another, leaving tension visible as a necessary condition for sustaining, remembering, and persisting.
