dc.description.abstract	Determinar la eficacia del tratamiento del ojo seco moderado a severo con insulina tópica. MATERIALES Y METODOS: Mediante un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo, se realizó una revisión de historias clínicas de mayores de 18 años tratados con insulina tópica y análisis comparativo en la mejoría de los marcadores de la homeostasis y de la encuesta Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI). Se ejecutó análisis de varianza (ANOVA) y de correlación de Pearson-Spearman.
dc.description.abstractenglish	To determine the treatment effectiveness of threating of treating moderate to severe dry eye with topical insulin MATERIALS AND METHOD: Through a retrospective descriptive study, a review of medical records of patients over 18 years of age treated with topical insulin and a comparative analysis was carried out on the improvement of homeostasis markers and the results of the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) survey. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson-Spearman correlation were performed.
