dc.description.abstractEste proyecto de grado está basado en el análisis de la infraestructura de red de una Institución Prestadora de Servicios de Salud (IPS), para lo cual se tomó como modelo una entidad de salud del país. Para este efecto, se realizó una visita a las instalaciones de la IPS, a fin de conocer el estado de la infraestructura de la red, se aplicaron medios de levantamiento de información como son: lista de chequeo, entrevista con el personal encargado de la seguridad de la información de la institución, análisis de funcionalidad de los dispositivos conectados a la red y el estado de cada dispositivo. Se analizaron cada uno de los componentes de la infraestructura de red tanto física como lógica, para identificar sí cumplen con las medidas adecuadas de seguridad requeridas por la organización para la continuidad de su operación. Se estableció el nivel de importancia de la información que administra la IPS diariamente, para clasificarlo en una escala de prioridad, atendiendo a la sensibilidad y reserva legal. El propósito de analizar la infraestructura de red de la IPS es proponer recomendaciones adecuadas que puedan ser implementadas a futuro.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis degree project is based on the analysis of the network infrastructure of a Health Service Provider Institution (IPS), for which a health entity in the country was taken as a model. For this purpose, a visit was made to the IPS facilities, in order to know the state of the network infrastructure, for this purpose information gathering means were applied such as: checklist, interview with the personnel in charge of the security of the information of the institution, analysis of the functionality of the devices connected to the network and the status of each device. Each of the components of the network infrastructure, both physical and logical, were analyzed to identify whether they comply with the adequate security measures required by the organization for the continuity of its operation. The level of importance of the information administered by the IPS on a daily basis was established to classify it on a priority scale, taking into account the sensitivity and legal reserve. The purpose of analyzing the IPS network infrastructure is to propose suitable recommendations that can be implemented in the future.eng
