dc.description.abstractLa finalidad de este proyecto es desarrollar una línea de base que nos permita analizar la situación de salud oral ocurrida entre el año 2003 a 2006 en cuatro sitios de rotación del Área de Odontología Comunitaria, con el propósito de caracterizar el perfil epidemiológico de las enfermedades orales mas prevalentes en estos sitios, y tener acceso inmediato, fácil e ilimitado a la información consignada en las historias clínicas de este periodo de estudio. Se espera que los resultados de estos análisis permitan delinear las necesidades futuras y características de un sistema de vigilancia epidemiológica para el área de comunitaria.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this project is to develop a baseline that will allow us to analyze the oral health situation from 2003 to 2006 in four rotation sites of the Community Dentistry Area, in order to characterize the epidemiological profile of the most prevalent oral diseases in these sites, and to have immediate, easy and unlimited access to the information contained in the clinical records of this study period. It is hoped that the results of these analyses will allow delineating the future needs and characteristics of an epidemiological surveillance system for the community area.
