dc.description.abstractEste escrito tiene como objetivo analizar bajo qué condiciones se podría atribuir consciencia a la inteligencia artificial y, a partir de la observación de estas condiciones, identificar si la inteligencia artificial contaría con las características para ser percibida de este modo. Para ello, se utilizará el enfoque cognitivo para plantear con qué cualidades se podría considerar a la inteligencia artificial consciente, por lo menos en algún grado. A lo largo de este escrito se pondrá en cuestión la vieja discusión de si el cuerpo es imprescindible para que haya consciencia, la recíproca relación que hay entre inteligencia y sentimientos, y el modo en que estos se pueden gestar en la inteligencia artificial. Se abordarán las similitudes en las formas de representación mental entre las máquinas y los humanos, y la manera en que estas similitudes pueden llegar a mejorar su relación. Finalmente, se identificarán los rasgos con los que cuenta la IA para concluir si a esta se le pueden atribuir rasgos conscientes.
dc.description.abstractenglishAbstract This paper aims to analyze under what conditions consciousness could be attributed to artificial intelligence and, based on the observation of these conditions, identify whether artificial intelligence would have the characteristics to be perceived in this way. To do this, the cognitive approach will be used to propose what qualities artificial intelligence could be considered conscious at least to some degree. Throughout this writing, the old discussion of whether the body is essential for consciousness, the reciprocal relationship between intelligence and feelings |and the way in which these can be generated in artificial intelligence will be questioned. The similarities in the forms of mental representation between machines and humans, and the way in which these similarities can improve their relationship. Finally, the traits that ai has will be identified to conclude if conscious traits can be attributed to it.
