dc.description.abstractenglish | One of the most impactful current trends is biomedical apps, wearables, which have quickly emerged as a critical component in changing the mobile health industry. Its scope is broad and promising in personalized medicine and patient engagement. It makes it possible to overcome geographical and economic barriers, reaching populations with little access to traditional health care. It also provides health care, education, and remote monitoring services. Mobile digital solutions (mHealth) that adopt interoperability standards in Colombia and that embrace international standards for the exchange of large volumes of information, data security and that consolidate the interoperability of electronic medical records are essential in the development of research and applications such as the case study. The objective of this research was to carry out a centralized technological development in the remote follow-up and monitoring of patients with Cardiac Ischemia. The patient's data studied were the measurements of their basic body functions such as heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature and oxygen saturation level, they were interoperated through the personal biomedical devices (DBP) and the developed application. A FHIR data structure was integrated into the REST software architecture for the electronic exchange of transactions; Resources were stored on a cloud server Vulcano of the Colombian Ministry of Health, there, the patient's structured data was exchanged using a RESTful Web service implemented the Health Level Seven - Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (HL7- FHIR) health interoperability standard. The SICMONIC application demonstrated that technology and interoperability support strategies that allow us to face health challenges aimed at remote monitoring through wearable technologies, the integral well-being and quality of life of the population affected by cardiovascular diseases and pathologies related to Cardiac Ischemia.
