Resumen
La presente investigación está basada en el análisis de datos cualitativos y cuantitativos del sector textil confecciones, a partir del año 2008 a la actualidad, con el fin de identificar el impacto de los Tratados de Libre Comercio (TLC) en el mismo; y de esta manera mostrar una visión más concreta de la situación actual del sector en Colombia.
Por consiguiente, se analizó variables que influyen en la productividad del mismo, tales como la evolución de las exportaciones e importaciones, balanza comercial, número de empresas constituidas y empleo generado por el sector. Finalmente, se identificó, tratados específicos y su impacto, positivo o negativo, en la industria local; de acuerdo con las cifras provenientes de las fuentes consultadas.
Para lograr lo anterior, se llevó a cabo un análisis de variables de producción e importaciones, recolectando datos provenientes de investigaciones científicas e informes sectoriales, teniendo en cuenta tanto los antecedentes históricos del sector como de los tratados de libre comercio firmados por el país; y el contraste entre lo pactado en los tratados de libre comercio y las cifras reales de importaciones y exportaciones para las partidas comprometidas en los mismos, a partir del año 2008 hasta la actualidad.

Abstract
This research is based on the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data of the textile sector from 2008 to the present, in order to identify what the impact of the free trade agreements has been and in this way show a vision more concrete of the current situation of the sector, therefore factors that directly influence the productivity of the same, taking into account aspects such as development of exports and imports, trade balance, number of companies and employees generated by the sector. Finally, it is expected to identify according to the investigated figures that treat directly impact the local industry positively and negatively.
For the above, a multivariate analysis of production and imports was made, collecting data from different scientific research and sector reports, taking into account the historical background of both the sector and the free trade agreements in the country; the impact that has brought with it the economic opening and the contrast between what was agreed in the free trade agreements and the real figures of imports and exports for the items committed in them from 2008 to the present.
