Resumen
En la actualidad el uso de los recursos digitales y herramientas como las Tecnologías de la información y comunicación TIC se han convertido en el mecanismo moderno para comunicar, interactuar y enseñar. En el ámbito educativo se ha convertido en parte fundamental para complementar y mejorar los procesos educativos actuales que deben ir de la mano con los constantes cambios y evolución en las formas de aprender y enseñar en la sociedad moderna.
Los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje en la educación superior no son indiferentes ante la necesidad de innovación constante propuesta por la modernidad de la mano con las TIC, y el área de la salud es un campo amplio en donde resulta de suma importancia el desarrollo y aplicación de herramientas digitales que permitan mejorar la enseñanza y lograr aprendizajes significativos en los estudiantes.
Por lo cual es necesario realizar una búsqueda de información y revisión de literatura que evidencie la importancia de crear contenidos digitales y recursos educativos didácticos para mejorar en la educación los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
Se realizó una búsqueda de información en diferentes bases de datos y fuentes de información como Google Schoolar, Redalyc, Scielo, ProQuest. Las principales ventajas de los recursos digitales didácticos se basan en que existe un proceso propio en el estudiante como actor activo, donde se establecen objetivos propios y se fomenta el auto aprendizaje generado por la motivación que un recurso didáctico genera en el estudiante.

Abstract
Currently the use of digital resources and tools such as TIC Information and Communication Technologies have become the modern mechanism to communicate, interact and teach. In the educational field it has become a fundamental part to complement and improve current educational processes that must go hand in hand with the constant changes and evolution in the ways of learning and teaching in modern society.
The teaching-learning processes in higher education are not indifferent to the need for constant innovation proposed by modernity hand in hand with TIC, and the area of health is a broad field where the development and application of Digital tools to improve teaching and achieve important learning in students.
Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a search for information and a literature review that shows the importance of creating digital content and didactic educational resources to improve the teaching-learning processes of students in education.
An information search was carried out in different databases and information sources like Google Schoolar, Redalyc, Scielo, ProQuest and Embase. The main advantages of digital teaching resources are based on the fact that there is an own process in the student where own objectives are established and self-learning is promoted, which is also generated by the motivation that a striking didactic resource generates in the student.
