Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación se basa en la revisión bibliográfica de artículos científicos de bases de datos académicas, los cuales estudian las definiciones, antecedentes, tendencias, cambios y otros conceptos relacionados con la temática de Turismo Sostenible, teniendo en cuenta la situación en Colombia y su interacción en el ámbito de los Negocios Internacionales. El propósito de esta investigación documental es identificar los aportes más relevantes de las investigaciones sobre turismo sostenible, con énfasis en el ámbito colombiano, con el objetivo de conocer la evolución de este, a través de la historia y hasta el día de hoy. Por otro lado, se pretende evidenciar el comportamiento de la literatura del tema en referencia, por medio de resultados descriptivos, con el fin de identificar los vacíos y los temas de interés, con base en la identificación de las palabras clave fundamentales y la comparación de los aportes de diferentes autores quienes pueden tener similares o diferentes posiciones según el contexto. Finalmente, de acuerdo con la literatura recopilada para llevar a cabo este proyecto de investigación, fue posible observar que se han realizado distintos estudios acerca de la importancia que tiene el Turismo Sostenible a lo largo de los años (desde 1990 hasta el presente año), debido a que trae beneficios en los diferentes ámbitos (social, económico y medioambiental) como se puede evidenciar en el caso Colombiano, gracias a que nuestro país se caracteriza por su gran variedad de recursos naturales que cada día pueden ser explotados en pro de su desarrollo, así como la preservación del entorno en el cual habitamos.

Abstract
This research project is based on the bibliographic review of scientific articles from academic databases, which study the definitions, antecedents, trends, changes and other concepts related to the theme of Sustainable Tourism, taking into account the situation in Colombia and its interaction in the field of International Business. The purpose of this documentary research is to identify the most relevant contributions of research on sustainable tourism, with emphasis on the Colombian area, with the aim of knowing the evolution of this, through history and to this day. On the other hand, it is intended to demonstrate the behavior of the literature of the subject in reference, by means of descriptive results (using schemas) in order to identify the gaps and the topics of interest, based on the identification of the key and key words. The comparison of the contributions of different authors who may have similar or different positions according to the context. Finally, according to the literature compiled to carry out this research project, it was possible to observe that various studies have been carried out on the importance of Sustainable Tourism over the years (from 1990 to the present year), because it brings benefits in different areas (social, economic and environmental) as can be seen in the Colombian case, thanks to our country is characterized by its great variety of natural resources that can be exploited every day for the development of the country, as well as the preservation of the environment in which we live.
