Resumen
Este proyecto propone resaltar la riqueza de la cerámica de La Chamba, mediante una exploración técnica del material se pretende agregar elementos
contemporáneos que puedan tener nuevas miradas en el mercado actual, esto respetando y poniendo siempre como referente el valor tradicional de
esta cerámica tradicional. Se trabajó en La Chamba ubicado en El Guamo - Tolima al suroriente del pais con mas de 397 familias de las cuales depende un 87% de la producción artesanal, se trabajo el taller artesanal punto y arte que cuenta con los artesanos Rosa Magnolia Salazar y Miguel Ángel Avilés quienes producen la cerámica negra y roja del país en una parte significativa. Este proyecto y trabajo se desarrolló en dos oportunidades. La primera oportunidad fue la de exploración de contexto y de la artesanía y comprobación con el material y la segunda oportunidad fue la de ideación, planeación y formalización de las piezas en la zona de La Chamba en conjunto con los artesanos. Todo este proceso se realizo para ampliar su mercado y ser más competitivos, se realizó una investigación exhaustiva, exploración técnica tradicionales y de las diferentes propiedades y maneras de elaborar productos cerámicos con diferentes texturas (incrustaciones, oropel, raku), características de sus materias primas son el bruñidos y el brillo de las piezas y su color negro. Finalizando con el trabajo se realizan nueve piezas para demostrar la mezcla de lo tradicional con lo contemporáneo durante toda la exploración realizada. Todo esto para poder agregar elementos contemporáneos y a partir de esto crear acabados en sus productos a un mercado actual, teniendo en cuenta no alejarlos de su identidad. Agrandando su oferta de producto y mejorar sus posibilidades comerciales.

Abstract
This project proposes to highlight the richness of La Chamba ceramics, through a technical exploration of the material is intended to add contemporary elements that may have new looks in the current market, respecting and always putting as a reference the traditional value of this traditional ceramics. We worked in La Chamba located in El Guamo - Tolima in the southeast of the country with more than 397 families, of which 87% of the production depends handicraft, the craft and art workshop that has the artisans Rosa Magnolia Salazar and Miguel Ángel Avilés who produce the black and red pottery of the country in a significant part.This project and work was developed twice. The first opportunity was to explore context and craft and check with the material and the second opportunity was the ideation, planning and formalization of the pieces in the area of La Chamba in conjunction with artisans. All this process was carried out to expand its market and be more competitive, a thorough research, traditional technical exploration and the different properties and ways of making ceramic products with different textures (incrustations, tinsel, raku), characteristics of their raw materials are the burnished and the brightness of the pieces and their black color. Finishing with the work nine pieces are made to demonstrate the mixture of the traditional with the contemporary throughout the exploration performed. All this to be able to add contemporary elements and from this to create finishes in their products to a current market, taking into account not to distance them from their identity.
