This is a cross-sectional study, with a quantitative analytical focus. The studied population were the students of the medicine program, of the Universidad del Bosque, located in Bogotá, in 2018. The investigation sample was of 200 recruited students, from different semesters, these ones on a range from the first to the tenth semester, only people older than 18 years old participated and the ones that complete the entire “Chaea” test. The main variables took into account were age, gender, area of knowledge and the learning styles. Tables and comparative graphs were made to observe the changes between the variables. Later it has been made an analysis where we found significant differences between the learning styles. In first place we saw that the main learning style in the category high in the three formation areas where the Teoric, the other learning styles where in the middle category mainly. Additionally the differences between sexes that we found were basically at the divisions of high, middle and low of every style and the significant differences showed that the males had a higher percentage in the high division on the style active and pragmatic compared to females that had a higher percentage in the middle category of those styles. We also saw that the active style were the less predominant style between the students of medicine who participate on the sample.
