This exhaustion and difficulty to perform daily life tasks can also be presented by a poor quality of sleep, which is seriously affects health workers. This is why it becomes fundamental to determine the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and poor sleep quality in students from 7th to 10th semester of medicine at El Bosque University. For this, a cross-sectional study was carried out which included 176 students, who carried out the Maslach and Pittsburgh survey to assess Burnout syndrome and sleep quality respectively, both validated in Colombia. In this study it was found that 60.79% of medical students had both Burnout and poor sleep quality (P: 0.013, OR: 2.7 CI: 1.30 to 5.84). According this, it was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between presenting poor sleep quality and developing Burnout syndrome.
